CEO/President

David is responsible for the day to day operations of Engage Hospitality and its portfolio of hotels. David began his 20+ years in the hospitality industry in the boutique/lifestyle hotel segment, where he held senior level positions at various hotels in San Francisco. David was also Area Manager for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) overseeing a portfolio of over 45 hotels in Northern California and Nevada. During his career, David has been involved in over 15 new hotels openings and 10 hotel renovations.



Margarita Wear

General Counsel

Margarita is responsible for the company's legal and human resources functions. She has represented hospitality and real estate companies in contract, labor and employment, franchise, corporate governance, and intellectual property matters. Margarita’s experience includes representing companies in state and federal litigation, administrative proceedings, trademark prosecution and opposition proceedings, and arbitrations and mediations. Margarita is a member of the State Bar of California and member of the Bar Association of San Francisco and received Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law.



Marilyn Perry

Marilyn Perry

VP of Sales

Marilyn brings more than 15 years of sales and hospitality experience to Personality Hotels. Her hospitality career began at The Fairmont Dallas where she gained comprehensive hotel experience through various departments. Marilyn went on to become National Sales Manager at Hilton Hotels Worldwide, followed by her position as Corporate Sales Manager at the Hyatt Regency DFW. Her diverse geographical background includes experience working in London, Texas, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, and even volunteering her time at several medical clinics throughout South America.


 


Kerri Pio

Director of Revenue and Reservations

Kerri oversees all aspects of inventory control, pricing and promotions, and an in house reservations staff. Kerri moved to the U.S. in 2007 from South Africa and started her career with a hotel company as a Revenue Manager for multiple hotels. She continued her hospitality career with Engage Hospitality in 2012 assuming the role of Revenue and Reservations Manager for Personality Hotels Collection Call Center. Because of her exemplary work ethic and her gained knowledge in the field of revenue management, Kerri was subsequently promoted to her current role.



Janelle Granfors

Regional Sales Director

Janelle is responsible for all aspects of the sales experience including prospecting, sending proposals and contracts, creating sales strategies, and servicing clients in all Market Segments for the collection of Personality Hotels, as well as our Engage Hospitality partners. Ms. Granfors brings over 12 years sales experience to Engage Hospitality with 10 years specializing in Group Sales and Convention Services.
